Joan Miller

Joan MillerJoan Miller, 74, Noblesville, died at 1:02 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Riverview Hospital.  She was born in Brookville, IN on February 8, 1934 to Lester A. and Edna L. (Younts) Howell.  Joan married Robert Miller in 1956 and he preceded her in death in 1998.Joan was a homemaker and a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Tipton as well as the Emanuel Ladies Aid group.She is survived by one son, Robert Miller of Lafayette, brothers Don Howell of Indianapolis and Harry Hudson Jr. of Eaton, Ohio, 2 grandchildren, Angela Miller of Bowling Green, KY and Robert Miller Jr., U.S. Navy serving in Diego Garcia British Indian Ocean.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Tipton with Revs. Robb Roloff and Kurt Gremel presiding.  Burial will occur at 3:00 p.m. at the Dale Cemetery in Connersville, IN.  The family will receive friends prior to the service Tuesday morning from 10:00 -11:00 at the church.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research, 2723 S.
