Jo Ann Lord

Jo Ann LordJo Ann Lord, 81, of Tipton died at 3:00 a.m. Monday May 2, 2011  at IU Health Tipton Hospital.  She was born September 6, 1929 in Tipton to Harold "Mike" & Edna (Off) Losey.  On December 31, 1952 she married Philip M. Lord and he preceded her in death on February 10, 2008.  She had retired from Citizens National Bank and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.Survivors include two daughters and one son, Pam Stout and Tim Ehman, Doug Lord and wife Roseann, and Deb Heath and husband Doug, all of Tipton; one brother Bob Losey and wife Nancy, Tipton; one sister-in-law, Phyllis Samuels and husband Joe, Tipton;  six grandchildren, Jeff Stout and wife Lea, Megan Lord, Adrienne Lord, Jon-Thomas Lord, Justin Heath and Shelby Heath; three great-grandchildren, Brayden White, Gracie Roberts and Callie Beiber.Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 5 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Bill Salsbery presiding and burial to follow.  Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 8440 Woodfield Crossing Blvd., #201, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46240.
