Jill L. Sides

Jill L. Sides, 41 of Hobbs died at 5:00 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on November 9, 1976 in Savannah, Georgia to Robert & Loretta Jean (Johnston) Caplinger.  Jill had lived in Anderson for 25 years.  She married Stephen Sides on July 14, 2015 and he survives.

Jill had worked as a hairdresser; most recently at Big League Barbers in Noblesville until she became disabled in 2009.  She was a graduate of Lapel High School, Class of 1994 and attended cosmetology school in Anderson.  She enjoyed scrapbooking, drawing and adult coloring books.

Survivors besides her husband Steve include her father, Robert of Anderson; three children, Robert D. Sides, Tipton, Katy M. Sides and Kaylyn A. Sides, both of Frankton; one sister, Sheri Caplinger, Noblesville and two brothers, Charles Caplinger, Tennessee and Bobby Caplinger, Indianapolis.  Jill was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Tim Canter.

A celebration of life will take place from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5 at Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 Main Street, Lapel, Indiana, 46051.
