Jeffrey R. Berg

Jeffrey R. Berg, 72 of Marion died Friday evening August 30, 2024 at the Veteran Hospital in Marion. He was born in Tipton, Indiana on December 6, 1951 to Richard and Madelyn (Park) Kendall Berg. Jeff was raised by his mother and step-father Millard F. Kendall.  He grew up in the Tetersburg area and later resided in several northern Indiana cities to include Upland, Kokomo, Gas City and Tipton.

Jeff proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Tetersburg Christian Church. Jeff was a quiet soul, enjoying the simple things in life especially his pet dogs. He could often be found working a crossword puzzle as the day passed by. He was an Elvis enthusiast, frequently listening to his gospel songs. He had a strong work ethic helping area farmers throughout the growing season. 

Survivors include his siblings, Jenny McDaniel and husband Dale of Goldsmith, David Berg and wife Thersa of Kokomo, Felicia Morris of Kokomo and brother-in-law Bruce Henry of Tipton; and several nieces and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Candy Henry.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 5 at Noon at Young-Nichols Funeral Home. Visitation will also be on Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Tetersburg Cemetery.
