Jean M. Andreoni

Jean M. (Felicione) Andreoni, 95 of Tipton, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Tipton. She had previously lived in the Chicagoland area for 70 years. Born October 5, 1921 in Bellaire, Ohio; she was the wife of Alex Andreoni for 63 years until his death on October 5, 2010. They were married on April 19, 1947 at Holy Rosary Church in Chicago.

Jean was the mother of Linda Winkleman, Tipton, IN and Donald Andreoni, Bloomington, IN; grandmother of Dawn Vidt and husband Daniel, Jennifer Basile and husband David, Brian Winkleman and wife Lisa, Todd Andreoni and wife Lori, Cody Andreoni, Kaitlyn Andreoni and great-grandmother of 10.

Preceded in death by her husband, parents Pasquale & Maria Felicione, brother John Felicione and wife Dora, brother-in-law Gino Andreoni and wife Carolyn, brother-in-law Louie Andreoni, nephew Bob Felicione. 1939 graduate of Tuley High School, Chicago. She retired from Washington National Life Insurance Company 1985. Jean continued working for family owned Andfel Company until full retirement. Active in Sisters Cities of Niles, Illinois, Glenbrook Shrine Club, Medinah Shrine Temple. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and playing cards. She was a friend to all and never met a stranger. Jean loved and enjoyed time with her family whom she considered very special, talented individuals and she was the family peacekeeper.

Graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois. Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
