James K. HudsonJames K. Hudson, 83, Atlanta, died at 7:25 p.m. Friday, January 6,
2006, at Tipton Hospital. He was born November 22, 1922, in Orlando,
Florida, to Charles E. & Lulie C. (Kline) Hudson.He worked for General Motors in Anderson and was a member of the
Frankton American Legion. James served in the U.S. Coast Guard
from 1942-46 during WWII.He is survived by nieces and nephews Dorothy Blount, Texas, Robert
Shinkle, Georgia, Lester Shinkle, Atlanta, Steve Hudson, Elwood, and Keith
Hudson, Indianapolis; special cousins Jerry & Esther Thomas, Three Oaks,
Michigan; and his dog, Sir Sebastian.Two brothers and two sisters, Arawana W. Hudson, Chester L. Hudson,
Pearl H. Shinkle, and Dale E. Hudson preceded him in death.His funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, at Young-Nichols
Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Barnett presiding. Burial will be in
Fairview Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
