Jacqueline M. Ray

Jacqueline M. Ray, 95 of Elwood died at 5:41 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Bloom at Kokomo. She was born on November 18, 1927 in Tipton to Ernest & Geneva Cope (Werner) Molden. On March 12, 1948 she married George Walter Ray and he preceded her in death on December 13, 1997.

Jacqueline had worked at Delco Remy in Anderson, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Eastern Star, Beta Sigma Phi, Landon Guild and the Eagles. She also belonged to the White Shrine of Jerusalem and enjoyed bowling and playing in several card clubs.

Survivors include one son, William Martin “Marty” Ray and wife DeeAnn of Columbia City, Indiana; two granddaughters, Sarah Ray and Emily Ray. She was preceded in death by one sister, Janice Marlene Schuck and one brother-in-law, John Schuck.

Visitation for Jacqueline will be from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton, with a graveside service immediately following the visitation at Fairview Cemetery, Tipton. Pastor Doug Slack will officiate the graveside service with burial to follow.
