Helen L. Cline Stewart, 93 of Bloomington, died at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Autumn Hills in Bloomington. She also lived in Tipton, Connersville, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Carmel, Indiana. Helen was born on September 30, 1924 in Goldsmith, Indiana to Mark & Mable Marie (Aldridge) Park. She married Lloyd Richard Cline and he preceded her in death in 1984. Helen then later married Robert Stewart of Farmland, Indiana and he survives.
She graduated from Goldsmith High School, Class of 1942. She was a hairdresser, secretary, and self-employed business owner. Helen spent the last several years in Bloomington, at Autumn Hills Alzheimer’s Center.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; two children, Mark Edward Cline and wife Shirley, Bloomington, Juanita Jane Cline, West Chester, Ohio; a sister, Wanda Walker, Tipton; four grandchildren, Andrew Cline, Aaron Cline, Amanda Bechtol, and Rachel Schneider; six great-grandchildren; step-children, Barry Stewart, Aileen Hugg, Beverly Guffy, and Sid Stewart; several step-grandchildren, and several step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Helen will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow in Tetersburg Cemetery.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff at Autumn Hills for their kind treatment of Helen and an extra special thanks to Premier and Southern Hospice, along with Helen’s special friend, Susan Atkins.
