Geneva F. Miller

Geneva F. Miller, 90 of Tipton died at 6:55 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011 at IU Tipton Hospital. She was born January 31, 1921 in Elwood, Indiana to Ralph & Penelope (Wyatt) Williams. On February 7, 1950 she married Carl E. "Sonny" Miller, Sr. and he preceded her in death on November 12, 1981.

She was a telephone operator for Tipton Telephone Company retiring in 1986. Geneva was a member of Kemp United Methodist Church, Telephone Pioneers, and Sigma Alpha Chi Sorority.

She is survived by two children, Carl E. "Ed" Miller, Jr., Fort Wayne and Nancy L. Moon, Tipton; one grandchild, Anthony B. "Tony" Moon, Tipton. Geneva was preceded in death by a brother Willis Leon Williams

Her funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The family would like flowers omitted and instead memorial contributions made to a charity of the donor's choice.
