Freeman C. Cook, Jr.

Freeman C. "June" Cook, Jr.Freeman Charles "June" Cook, Jr., 56, Tipton, died Friday June 25, 2010 at his residence.  He was born May 27, 1954 at Amarillo, Texas to Freeman, Sr. and Marianna (Maxfield) Cook.He worked as a consulting engineer.  Freeman graduated from Tipton High School in 1972, from Purdue in 1976 with a BS in Environmental Science, and Washington State with a Masters in Environmental Engineering.  He was also an Eagle Scout.Freeman is survived by his father, Freeman Cook, Sr., Tipton.; two children, Emily Watson-Cook and Lucy Watson-Cook, both of Wilmington, North Carolina; one brother, M. Scott Cook, Canton, Ohio; and Jill Watson.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Marianna Cook.His visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon Thursday, July 1 with the funeral then beginning at Noon at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Collier presiding.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton.
