Evelyn G. Huff

Evelyn G. HuffEvelyn G. Huff, 86, Kokomo, and a former Goldsmith and Brazil resident died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at her residence.  She was born in Millersville, Indiana on September 9, 1922 to Glenn and Elizabeth (Frazier) Crawford.  Evelyn married William R. Huff on October 3, 1938, he preceded her in death on February 19, 2005.She was a loving wife and mother.  Evelyn was a member of the Goldsmith United Methodist Church.She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Watson and husband Roy of Goldsmith, and Jerry Gabriel of Kokomo; nine grandchildren, Wesley Watson and wife Annette, Tracy Cockrum, Sally Berry and husband Phillip, Julie Blunck and husband Ron, Jamie Moulder and husband Tom, Mike Gabriel and wife Susie, William P. Huff, Jeff Huff and wife Gae, and Kelly Wallace, and 23 great-grandchildren.Evelyn was preceded in death by one son, William C. Huff, a great-grandchild, two sisters and four brothers.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, at the Goldsmith Methodist Church with Rev. Don McDowell presiding.  Burial will follow at the Tetersburg Cemetery.Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home and Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church.Memorial donations may be made to Goldsmith United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society, 2723 S.
