Ernest D. "Ernie" Delph, Jr.Ernest Dean "Ernie" Delph, Jr., 55, Tipton, died at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at his residence.  He was born December 27, 1950 in Tipton to Ernest D. Delph, Sr. and Maxine (Shupperd) Delph.He was the former owner of Ernie's Car Care.  Ernie belonged to the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge and American Legion.  He served in the U.S. Army.He is survived by one daughter, Tamera Sue Delph-Massingill, Lebanon; one son, Damian Dean Delph, Tipton; a special friend, JoEllen Scott, Tipton; two grandchildren, Logan Olivia Massingill and Chase Lee Massingill; one sister, Maryann Sullivan, Rogersville, Tennessee.  One brother, Jimmy Delph, is deceased.A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 30 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Burns-Watson presiding.  Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the Tipton Hospital Foundation, 1000 S.
