Elizabeth Ann "Ibby Ann" Kurtz SchramElizabeth Ann "Ibby Ann" Kurtz Schram, 94,  Tipton died at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday January 27, 2009 at Maple Park Village in Westfield.  She was born in Connersville, Indiana on February 11, 1914 to Fred V. and Ella M. (Marlatt) Miller.  Ibby Ann married William A. Kurtz, M.D. in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1974.  She married Robert M. Schram in 1977 and he preceded her in death in 2005.Ibby Ann was a teacher.  She graduated from I.U.,  belonged to the Kemp United Methodist Church, was a member of Tri-Delta Sorority, and Tri-Kappa.  She twice received the Sagamore of the Wabash and received the Distinguished Hoosier award.  She served as Vice Chairman of the Indiana Bicentennial Committee.She is survived by two sons, William M. Kurtz and wife Rose of Indianapolis, Robert S. Kurtz, M.D. and wife Charla of Noblesville; three step children, R. Thomas Schram and wife Betsy of Cincinnati, David Schram and wife Carol of Kirkline, Washington, and Mary E. Schram of Kirkline, Washington.  She has seven grandchildren, Laura Clouser, Jennifer Cugier, Allison Kurtz, Julie, Tom, Katherine, and Rachel Schram; three great-grandchildren, Ethan and Ava Clouser, and Spencer Cugier.Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Saturday.Memorial donations may be made to the Robert & Elizabeth Schram Education Fund at the Tipton County Foundation, P.O. Box 412, Tipton, Indiana 46072 or the Tipton Hospital, 1000 S. Main Street Tipton, Indiana 46072.
