Elizabeth Ann "Betty" ThomasElizabeth Ann “Betty” Thomas, 83, died at 9:40 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Northwood Village, Kokomo.  She was born on January 3, 1924 in Tipton, to Anthony and Mary (Ripberger) Tragesser, and lived in Tipton until 1975.  On February 3, 1951, she married Harry Richard “Dick” Thomas; he preceded her in death on May 5, 1981.Betty was a homemaker and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Kokomo.She is survived two sons, Ronnie L. Thomas and wife Peggy B., Kokomo and Daniel R. Thomas and wife Phyllis “Robin” of Kokomo; one sister Rosella Tragesser of Tipton; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and one step grandchild.Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 23, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton with Rev. David Hasser presiding.  Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be Saturday December 22, from 4:00-7:00 at the funeral home with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Saturday.
