Eileen Mae WatsonEileen Mae Watson, 84, Tipton, died at 11:15 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Maple Park Village in Westfield.  She was born in Ekin on March 12, 1924 to Herman G. & Esther (Thompson) Lewis.  On June 21, 1946 she married Rupert "Red" Watson and he preceded her in death on August 29, 2006. She was a housewife and a member of the West Street Christian Church in Tipton.  Eileen enjoyed painting and gardening.She is survived by five children, Rose Marie Kurtz and husband Mike, Indianapolis, Kathy Jo Watson, Minnesota, Carl Eugene Watson and wife Jane, Tipton, Gregory Alan Watson, Tipton, and Judy Lee Watson, Tipton; a special family friend, Greg Coverdale of Michigan; one sister Jo Ellen Hufford, Tipton; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Cugier, Allison Kurtz, Rachel Bauer, Audrey Watson, Erin Watson, Lisa Watson, and Cody Watson; two great-grandchildren, Mallory Bauer and Spencer Cugier.She was preceded in death by one son, Kirk Edward Watson.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home.  Rev. Roger Burns-Watson will preside.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday September 17, at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
