Edward T. "Ed" HenryEdward T. "Ed" Henry, 79, Tipton died at 6:44 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born November 8, 1928 in Greenwood to Harold G. & Nina K. (Langley) Henry.  On June 17, 1950 he married Charlene Prifogle and she survives.Ed was the owner/operator of Ed Henry & Son Trucking, a farmer, and a school bus driver for over 30 years.  He was a member of the Kiwanis in Tipton, Life Member of Tipton Elks, and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Kokomo.  He belonged to the Old Goats Poker Club and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus.Survivors besides his wife include four children, Deb Thompson and husband Bill, Fishers, Cindy Belloli and husband Dave, Fishers, Tim Henry and wife Lori, Tipton, and Jan List and husband Tom, Sharpsville; five brothers and sisters, Bud Henry, Tipton, Rich Henry, Florida, Evelyn Armstrong, Ft. Wayne, Fred Henry, Tipton, and Judy Tansy, TiptonEd is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Angie Augustus, Brad Thompson, Dustin Thompson, Brian Belloli, Andrew Belloli, Dava Brown, Brandon Henry, Chelsie Kochenderfer, Isaiah Henry, Lindsay List, Shelby List and Cassie List; three great-grandchildren, Morgan Thompson, Ryan Augustus and Austin Augustus.His funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 21 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Kokomo with Rev. David Hasser presiding.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joan of Arc with a wake service at 7:30 p.m.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Memorial contributions may be made to Kiwanis International or the Tipton County Relay for Life.
