E. Anne StandersE. Anne Standers, 73, Frankfort and a former Tipton resident, died at 6:45 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette.  She was born July 26, 1937 in Des Moines, Iowa, to William George and Margaret Lucille (Roberts) Clingan and lived in Iowa until 1966 when she moved to Tipton.  On May 31, 1957 she married Donald E. Standers.Anne had worked as a bookkeeper in the medical field for several doctors and at Tipton Hospital.  She had also worked at Leatherite in Carmel.  Anne was a life-long member of the Lutheran Church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.She is survived by three sons, Dennis Standers and wife Jodiene, Lebanon, Chuck Standers, Frankfort, Thomas Standers and wife Amanda, Terre Haute; one daughter, Susan McKinsey and husband Douglas, Frankfort; three grandchildren, Cory Standers, Elijah Standers, Abigail Standers; and one brother Fred O. Clingan, West Des Moines, Iowa.  Anne was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Clingan, and a special friend, Keith A. Percival.Her funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 11 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor John Stacy presiding.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton.
