Dillard H. Moss

Dillard H. MossDillard Harrison Moss, 68, Tipton, died at 10:20 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville with his family at his side.  He was born April 16, 1940 in Celina, Tennessee, the son of Buford Moss and Hattie (Strong) Moss, both of whom preceded him in death.  He was retired from General Motors and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed riding his Harley.He is survived by his wife, Linda (Miller) Moss, Tipton; three children, Elaine Moss, Elwood, Kim Robinette, Tipton, and Michael Moss and wife Peggy, Warsaw; three stepchildren, Brenda Nelson and husband Ken, Michigan, Darlene Grell, Windfall and David Brumley, Windfall.  He will be sadly missed by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Surviving brothers and sisters include Iva Perrin, Jay Moss, Lee Moss, Willard Moss, Willie Turner Moss, Buford H. Moss, Jr., and Louis Moss.He was also preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Kathy Guffey and one brother, Ray Moss.His funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 23 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Cornwell presiding.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 115 W.
