Dennis Wayne MahaneyDennis Wayne Mahaney, 56, Tipton, died at 5:14 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at his residence.  He was born December 14, 1951 in Tipton to Ernest Paul & Cherie Kathleen (Tidler) Mahaney.  On July 15, 1972 he married Paula Rose McCann and she survives.He was co-owner of D. & D. Construction.  Dennis was an active member of Heartland Ministries church, supervising many of their construction projects including the new sanctuary in 1988 and the set for their puppet ministry, Jericho Junction.  He loved fishing and woodworking and participated in Tipton County's Relay for Life.  He enjoyed the special Tuesday night dinners with his grandchildren.Survivors besides his wife Paula include four children, Andrea Rose Mahaney and fiancé Wesley Denton, Indianapolis, Joseph Patrick Mahaney and wife Robin (Smith) Mahaney, Tipton, Sam Clabough and wife Ann  (Lewandowski) Clabough, Kokomo, and Amy Jo (Mahaney) Meyer and husband Richard N. Meyer, Tipton; mother-in-law Tweed McCann, Florida; one sister, Mrs. Ronnie (Betty) Bray, Sheridan; three brothers, Kenny Mahaney and wife Mary (Schnerre) Mahaney, Richard Mahaney and Davey Joe Mahaney and wife Geraldine (Cage) Mahaney, all of Tipton.Dennis is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Jordan K. Mahaney, Emily J. Mahaney, Alexa Kughen, Ashley R. Mahaney, Maggie E. Meyer, Benjamin L. Meyer, Tyler Clabough, Garrett Clabough, Hali A. Charlesworth, and Robby Charlesworth.His funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19 at Heartland Ministries, 3611 N. St. Rd. 19 with Rev. Dr. Bill Salsbery presiding.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home and from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Ministries building fund, 3611 N.
