David E. Ziegler

David E. Ziegler, 74 of Tipton died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Millers Merry Manor in Tipton.  He was born in Tipton on November 9, 1944 to Leonard A. and Ruth L. (Borton) Ziegler.  Dave worked at Kroger in Kokomo, retiring several years ago.

Dave was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus where he was a past Grand Knight.  He belonged to the ushers club at church and was a member of The Encore Center in Tipton.

David served his country in the Army from September of 1965 through September 1967.

He is survived by siblings, Butch Ziegler, Tipton, Susie Holloway, Atlanta, and Mary Ann Sorensen of Tipton.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Reynolds.

Services are scheduled for Friday, January 4, 2019.  Graveside committal with Military Rites will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. at St. John’s Cemetery.  The family will then receive friends at St. John’s Catholic Church from 9:30 until 10:00 a.m. when a memorial mass will be held with Rev. Dennis Goth presiding.
