Danny B. NashDanny B. Nash, 78 of Tipton died 8:26 a.m. on
Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at his
residence. He was born in Tipton on April 22, 1938 to Mort &
Varidene (Beamer) Nash. He married Marilyn Burget and she
survives.Danny graduated from Tipton High School in 1956 and
Kokomo Business College in 1958. He was a farmer his entire
life, working the family farm. He had also worked at Oakes
Manufacturing in Tipton, Dirilyte Manufacturing, Pioneer Hybrid,
Delta Airlines and was a Rural Postal Carrier. Danny was a
member of Normanda Christian Church. He served in the U.S. Air
Force from 1961-1965.Survivors besides his wife Marilyn include two
daughters, Lisa Miller and husband Rick, Peru and Melissa Solomon
and husband Steve, Dayton, Ohio; one step-son, Doug Atchley, Tipton
and one step-daughter, Shari Smith.Danny is also survived by five grandchildren,
Colton, Cody and Caitlyn Miller and Kellen and Kacy Solomon; five
step-grandchildren, Abbie Smith and husband Nate Stout, Madison
DePew and husband Josh, Walker Mehl, Erika Heaton and Kaleigh
Atchley; seven step-great-grandchildren, Matilda and Jack Stout,
Raylee and Asher DePew, Gracie, Lillie and Wilson Heaton.Additional survivors include one brother, Jerry Nash
and wife Becky, Land-O-Lakes, Florida; nephew Michael Nash and wife
Colleen; great-nephew Conner and a great-niece Mikayla Nash;
sisters-in-law Madonna Burget Sprat and Marianna Burget Gray.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant child.At Danny's request no services are planned.
Burial will be in Normanda Cemetery. Young-Nichols Funeral
Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions
may be made to Normanda Christian Church, 8019 W. Division Road,
Tipton, Indiana, 46072.The family would like to say "Thank You" to Dr.
Vossberg, Great Lakes Hospice and to Total Seed Company for the many
employees who came to Danny's rescue when he would fall.We would also like to thank Marlene Deason, Steve &
Janie Coverdale, Pat & Harold Mars, Larry Alderfer, the Craig &
Cindy Malson children, Corbin Moulder, Tom Moulder, Jerry & Aaron
Harlow, Steve Brown and any others we may have forgotten to mention.
The family is so thankful for our community and the support you have
given us throughout this long journey. We love and appreciate
