Dale Hensley

Dale HensleyDale Hensley, 70, Tipton, died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at  Windsor Estates in Kokomo after a 6-month illness.  He was born July 22, 1936 in Tipton to Lester & Mary (Osborne) Hensley.  On December 28, 1958 he married Violet L. Weismiller and she survives.He worked at Dana Corporation for over 30 years and was a supervisor and machine operator.  Dale was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Tipton.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1960-64.Dale is survived by his wife Violet; four children, Alan Hensley, Tipton, Sherryl Hensley, Tipton, Janice Hensley, Panama City, Florida, and Kevin Hensley, Winterset, Iowa; three grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas Hensley, Tipton, Phillip Hensley, California and Karl Hensley, Lafayette; one sister, Linda Pederson, California.  One sister, Marylyn Hensley, is deceased.His funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21 at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, 1385 S. Main Street, Tipton, with the Rev. Kurt Gremel presiding.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home and from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church .Memorial contributions may be made to the Emanuel Lutheran Church.
