Clay Allen

Clay AllenClay Allen, 75, Tipton died early Thursday, March 15, 2007 at his residence.  He was born April 12, 1931 in Jackson County, Tennessee, to Lewis K. & Betty A. (Gipson) Allen.  On June 8, 1952 he married Pauline Helen Wolfe and she survives.  He had lived in Tennessee and Sharpsville for many years.He worked for General Motors, retiring in 1986.  Clay was a member of the Indiana Deaf Club.He is survived by his wife, Pauline Helen Allen; one daughter, Patty Sue Park, Tipton; three grandchildren, Amanda N. Park, Alisha R. Park and Cody A. Park; four brothers and one sister, Ralph Allen, California, Eugene and Carl Allen of Tennessee, Paul Allen, Alabama and Barb Nemorc, Tennessee.  One son, Thomas Allen, and one brother, Douglas Allen, are deceased.His funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Cliff Kelly presiding.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
