Clark E. Mckinney, Sr.

Clark E. McKinney, Sr.Clark E. McKinney, Sr. 83, Windfall, died at 9:03 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2010 at Community Hospital, Anderson.  He was born October 25, 1926 in Boxley to Edward & Mildred (Smith) McKinney.  On September 8, 1946 he married Marie (Mayer) Emmons and she survives.He had worked for General Motors at Delco Remy in Anderson for 24 years, retiring in 1974.  Clark attended the Hobbs Christian Church and was a member of the U.A.W. and a former member of the VFW.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.Survivors besides his wife Marie include three children, Diane Brown, Windfall, Linda "Chris" Weeks, Hobbs, and Clark McKinney, Jr., Carmel; four grandchildren, Michelle Meadows, Loren Weeks, Michael Brown and Jessica McKinney; 8 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Lassiter.No services are planned.  Cremation will take place and burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Windfall.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2723 S.
