Clarence L. Holman

Clarence L. HolmanClarence L. Holman, 93, Tipton, died at 4:48 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2006, at Tipton Hospital. He was born October 1, 1912, in Afton, Oklahoma to George U. & Carrie (Hoffman) Holman.  Clarence married Frances Mason on December 12, 1937, and she preceded him in death on June 23, 2003.Clarence worked at Delco Remy in Anderson, retiring in 1974.  He loved the outdoors, especially working the garden.  He enjoyed wood working and traveling.He is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and James Mast, Avon, and Arlene and Robert Morelock, Kokomo; four grandchildren, David & Richard Mast, Ronald & Jeffrey Morelock.  Clarence had 14 great-grandchildren and a beloved pet "Buddy".  He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers.Private funeral services are planned.  There will be no visitation.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Tipton. Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Clarence enjoyed wonderful care from Caregiver Companion and the family wishes for memorial donations to further their work.  Donations may be mailed to Caregiver Companion, 121 N.
