Chantelle Reed

Chantelle ReedChantelle Reed, 17, Tipton, died at 10:56 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2006 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Clinton County.  She was born  September 20, 1988 in Muncie.  Her parents are James P. Reed,  Tipton, and Melanie (Edwards) Graf,  Muncie.Chantelle was a student at Tipton High School completing her sophomore year.  She played basketball and enjoyed Home Economics, especially cooking.  Her outdoor interests included canoeing, swimming, riding the wave runner and camping.  She was fond of animals and loved her dog, Buddy.Survivors include both parents; one brother, Prentice A. Graf;  maternal grandparents, Linda and Earl Edwards, Muncie;  paternal grandparents, James and Myrna Armstrong, Kokomo;  maternal great-grandmother,  Alice Cooksey, Jamestown, TN;  paternal great-grandparents, James and Anna Partlow, Tipton; Uncles Eddie and Lance Combs of Kokomo and Shane Edwards of Muncie.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 12, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, 216 W. Jefferson Street, Tipton, with Rev. Lee Mangold presiding.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to Boys & Girls Club of Tipton County,  341 W.
