Carolyn S. Robertson

Carolyn S. Robertson, 75 of Anderson died at 9:29 a.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at her daughter's residence in Cicero. She was born July 3, 1941 in Elwood to James E. & Beatrice P. (Samuels) Johnson. She married Leonard C. Lemke on September 15, 1961 and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1967. She then married Wayne L. Robertson on May 26, 1979 and he also preceded her in death on January 7, 1996.

Carolyn had worked at Delco Electronics in Kokomo, retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Anderson First Church of the Nazarene and had graduated from Frankton High School in 1960.

Survivors include her children, Lyla Lemke, Milford, Illinois, Esther A. Harrier and husband Alan, Yorba Linda, California, Ellen Zell and husband Jim, Cicero and Michael Dunning, Anderson; one sister, Nerita Steinke, Ohio, and two brothers, Danny Johnson, Alexandria and Jim Johnson, Anderson; five grandchildren, Nate Coppess, Britta Zell, Zachary Harrier, Landon Zell and Joshua Harrier.

Funeral services for Carolyn will be as follows: visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with funeral services immediately following at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 26 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton, with Pastor Paul Gilmore presiding. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Tipton.

Memorial contributions in Carolyn's honor may be made to the Anderson First Church of the Nazarene, 2300 Jackson Street, Anderson, Indiana, 46016.
