Bonnie S. Ross"When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure."Bonnie Sue "Meme" Ross, 87 of Kokomo, and a former Tipton resident, died at 9:50 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Primrose Retirement Community in Kokomo.  She was born May 12, 1927 in Elwood to Chester & Adeline (Warden) Quyle.  On September 1, 1951 she married Don Ross and he preceded her in death on May 20, 2010.Bonnie was a homemaker and worked part-time with her husband at their auto dealership, Don Ross Motor Sales in Tipton.  She was a graduate of Elwood High School and was a member of the West Street Christian Church where she was very active.  She belonged to Tri-Kappa, Embroidery Circle and Lady Elks.  Bonnie was involved in several community events including the Tipton Symphony Society and Friends of the Tipton County Library.She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Ross Todd and husband Rick, Kokomo, and Stephanie Sue Ross, South Bend; two granddaughters, Tiffany Todd Creason and husband Nathan, Tipton, Tracey Todd Iles and husband Travis, Augusta, Georgia; two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Logan Creason; one sister, Linda Honaker and husband Carl, Phoenix, Arizona.Bonnie's funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24 at the West Street Christian Church, 132 N. West Street, Tipton, with Pastor Greg Reed presiding.  Entombment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton and from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.Memorial contributions in Bonnie's honor may be made to the West Street Christian Church.
