Beverly J. MichelBeverly Jane (Campbell) Michel, 80 of Tipton died at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Allisonville Meadows in Fishers surrounded by family.  She was born September 25, 1933 near Frankton to H. Coe & S. Mildred (Burgess) Campbell.  On June 19, 1955 she married Paul Richard "Dick" Michel and he preceded her in death on August 8, 2006.Beverly was a 1951 graduate of Tipton High School where she was the class Valedictorian. She then graduated from Indiana University in 1955 and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.  She had taught in public schools in Tipton and Kokomo and St. John's School in Tipton.  She had also worked at the Tipton County Welfare Department in Child Welfare.  Beverly had served as Elder and Deacon at the First Presbyterian Church in Tipton and as the Treasurer of the Tipton Presbyterian Women.Beverly is survived by three sons, Andrew J. Michel and wife Jeannette, Fishers, Timothy J. Michel and wife Judy, Carmel and Rick J. Michel and wife Sharon, Jamestown, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; Stephanie Crabtree and husband Mike, Andrew "Drew" Michel Jr. and wife Monique, Greg, Brooks, Ali, Stuart, and Steven Michel; one great-granddaughter Peyton and one great-grandson Alex.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul Richard "Dick" Michel and two brothers, Bill Campbell and Don Campbell.Beverly's family will receive friends from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Tipton at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 3 with the Rev.
