Beverly A. Julius

Beverly A. Julius, 81 of rural Tipton County died at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on October 10, 1936 in Windfall to Elmer Pete Smith and Jnettie (Browning) Smith Dobbins.  On December 30, 1994 she married Paul Julius and he survives.

Beverly was a homemaker and made her career as a hairdresser.  She was a graduate of Windfall High School in the Class of 1954 and had attended Windfall Christian Church.  Beverly loved to read and decorate.

Survivors besides her husband Paul include two children, Barry Retherford and wife Catherine, Tipton and Jill Fiscus and husband Alan, Russiaville; five grandsons, Adam Retherford and wife Wendy, Aaron Retherford and wife Jaclyn, Ryan Retherford and wife Brooke, Eric Fiscus and wife Miranda and Evan Fiscus; four great-grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Mills and the father of her children, Max Retherford.

Funeral services for Beverly will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 26 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Roudebush presiding.  Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Windfall.  Visitation will be from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
