Arlita L. Williams

Arlita L. Williams, 69 of Granite City, Illinois died on Friday, February 17, 2017 in Granite City. Arlita was born in Kokomo, Indiana on April 16, 1947 to Arlet S. & Helen L. (Briant) Cass. She lived in Kokomo 49 years before moving to Illinois.

She is survived by three children, Timothy W. Williams, Granite City, Kenneth R. Williams, Granite City, and Heather L. Huggins, Clearwater, Florida; sister, Janet Hill and husband A.C., Kokomo; three brothers, Larry Cass, Los Angeles, California, Ronald Cass, Ft. Myers, Florida, Greg Briant and wife Kristi, Muncie; five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, a daughter, Debra A. Williams and a sister, Lynda Markley.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton. Dress is casual. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery in Tipton County.
