Arley J. "Joe" McAdamsArley J. "Joe" McAdams, 63, Tipton, died at 7:53 a.m. Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.  He was born March 4, 1945 in Bald Knob, Arkansas to Lewis & Katherine (Norman) McAdams.  On September 2, 1967 he married Dorothy Powell and she survives.Joe retired from the National Guard in 1986 and Acraline Products in 2001.  He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.Survivors besides his wife include two daughters, Angela Hill and husband Curtis, Tipton, and Amy McAdams and fiancé Matt Gonzales, Indianapolis; two sisters, Floetta Scelta and Sherley McAdams, both of New York state; one brother, Lewis Alfred McAdams, Arkansas; three grandsons, Wesley, Noah and Graham Hill; several brothers and sisters-in-law including a special sister-in-law, Beth Rippy.His funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Tipton, with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman presiding.  Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Tipton, with military honors.  Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 6415 Castleway W.
