Anita P. Calvin

Anita P. CalvinAnita P. Calvin, 96 of Tipton died  at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Miller's Merry Manor   She was born November 4, 1912,  in Tipton County to William and Anna (Koeper) Rode.  On June 26, 1931 she married Ray Calvin, he died on March 20, 1992.She was a farm wife and a former member of Albright United Methodist Church.Anita is survived by 3 children, Robert Calvin, Atlanta; Richard Calvin, New London, Iowa; and Lynda Trimble of Tipton.  She has 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister, and one grandson, Matthew Trimble.Visitation will be Saturday, December 20,  from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with  Rev. Mark Ward  presiding, and burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Gideons  International, P.O. Box 96 Tipton, Indiana 46072.
