Anita M. Wright

Anita M. WrightAnita M. Wright, 64 of Tipton died at 8:45am Friday,April 14, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Hospital in Kokomo.  She was born September 26, 1941 in Peru, Indiana.  Her parents were George and Esther (Miller) Catey.  She married Robert A. Wright on August 17, 1968, and he preceded her in death on December 23, 1996.Anita retired from the U.S. Postal service on October 31, 2002, working in Elwood.  She was a member of the First Christian Church in Peru.  She enjoyed being with her grandchildren.Survivors include 3 children, Becky Smith (Ron) of Kokomo;  Rachelle Wright of Kokomo; and Bobby Wright (Tami) of Tipton; four brothers and sisters-in-laws, Walter & Marilyn Catey, Peru;  John & Mildred Catey, Peru;  Dale & Charlene Catey, Warren, MI;  David & Marylynn Catey, Washington, DC;.  5 grandchildren: Caleb and Cameron Wright, Enrico Ruano, Dylan Stewart & Ryan Wright;  several nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Wright.Funeral services will be held  10:00 a.m. Wednesday April 19, 2006 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton.  Rev. George McCarty will preside.  Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru.  Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to: The American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
