Alice G. Voss

Alice G. VossAlice G. Voss, 88 of Tipton died at 6:57 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2008  at Tipton Hospital. She was born in Tipton on November 28, 1919 to Isaac Francis and Rachel Jane (Hash) Goodman.  On January 10, 1944 she married Walter J. Voss, he preceded he in death on December 10, 1985.Alice worked at Dana Corporation as an inspector.  She was a member of West Street Christian Church.She is survived by two children, a daughter, Vicki Sowders and husband Vic, Tipton and a son, Randy Voss and wife Gail, Oak Forest, Illinois.   Alice is also survived by six grandchildren, Jeff Sowders and wife Melinda, Ron Sowders, Jamie Jones and husband Jasson, Margie Martino and husband Andre, Chris Voss and wife Sandy, and Brad Voss; four great-grandchildren, Ashley Sowders, Maddie Martino, A.J. Martino and Jaydon Jones.  She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 25 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, and from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the West Street Christian Church Memorial Fund, 132 N.
